UX Case Study: Sinclair Digital Viewbook

UX Case Study

Programs used:

The Sinclair Digital Viewbook project was a user experience case study focused on transforming a traditional print piece into an engaging, accessible digital tool for prospective students. My goal was to create a mobile-friendly, on-brand microsite that reflected Sinclair’s core offerings while guiding users toward meaningful next steps in their college journey. This project included user research, wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and iterative testing, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, clarity, and responsive design.

This was the first major project in my master’s program in UX Design, spanning two courses over the course of a semester. I worked independently to translate print-based materials into an intuitive, web-friendly experience while applying foundational UX principles. I conducted peer reviews, heuristic analysis, and design iterations based on hypothetical user personas and internal feedback. Through this project, I deepened my understanding of how to balance institutional messaging with user-centered design, and how to create flexible, accessible layouts that support mobile-first behavior and future scalability.
