The “In-person Class Campaign” project involved creating animated ads to promote Sinclair College’s return to in-person classes in Spring 2021, following the transition to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ads highlighted the variety of class types available, showcasing Sinclair’s commitment to offering flexible and diverse learning options.
One of the primary challenges was to create visually appealing and informative ads that effectively communicated the different class types Sinclair offers. Additionally, the ads had to be produced in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats to ensure compatibility across various platforms and devices. Ensuring that the ads resonated with students and conveyed a sense of excitement and reassurance about returning to in-person classes required a careful balance of design and messaging.
In this project, my role encompassed conceptualizing, designing, and animating the ads from scratch. I developed the class types graphic, ensuring it clearly and attractively presented the “more choices” class options. Using my skills in animation and graphic design, I created dynamic and engaging ads in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats to capture the essence of Sinclair College’s diverse learning opportunities and ensure widespread reach.
